“Lost and Found”
Watercolor and colored pencil; 15 in x 20 in
The image of a little girl holding a stuffed animal, standing alone in a forest is quintessential of childhood. It’s of growing up and being brave and looking ahead to bigger adventures. It’s an image of feeling safe. Although the girl appears lonely and isolated, the rays of sunshine show optimism and give viewers the sense of hope and happiness. The artist demonstrates good composition and technical skill.
