Anti-Bullying Month
- Oct. 1 at 6:30-7:30 – City Council meeting
- Oct. 3 – Youth Network (4-5:30) – possibly an added interview session with Tournament of Roses (until 6:30)
To kick off Bullying Prevention Month (October), the mayor is willing to do an ‘official’ proclamation at the City Council Meeting on October 1st. This should be a time when all the youth groups affiliated with the city come together to be recognized and support the proclamation. It happens at the beginning of the meeting in council chambers, normally around 6:30 p.m. and then right after the reading we gather on the City Hall bridge for some pictures. It can be pretty impressive when we fill the council chambers with young people.
