WHAT IS WTNV?
WELCOME TO NIGHT VALE (WTNV) is a podcast featuring a mock community radio show about a desert town called Night Vale. Created and written by Jeffrey Cranor and Joseph Fink, this desert town is full of improbable possibilities and endless mysteries. From a forbidden dog park and an ominous glow cloud to the scientist trying to figure out Night Vale for himself, Carlos, the radio show promises to keep its listeners and the citizens of Night Vale up-to-date in the latest news, weather reports, and odd occurrences in their town- all while listening the lilting voice of the show’s host, Cecil Baldwin.
The podcast features local weather, news, announcements from the Sheriff’s Secret Police & City Council, mysterious lights in the night sky, dark hooded figures with unknowable powers, and cultural events. Turn on your radio and hide.
