Since it was the first day of Summer Reading Club, and the theme for 2013 is Reading is Soooo Delicious, we had to share some food stories today. We had a delicious storytime full of berries! To find any of the materials we shared today in our library catalog, just click on the photos below.
Books We Shared
We started off with Jamberry by Bruce Degen, a wonderful rhyming book about a bear and a boy on the search for berries. Next we kept a strawberry safe with The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear by Don and Audrey Wood.
Video We Watched
Max the bunny got up to some creative mischief (as he usually does) in our film “Grandma’s Berry Patch” from Max & Ruby: Berry Bunny Adventures.
