Pet Rocks Rock!

We had so much fun at Central yesterday, June 23, painting rocks into new pet pals.  Take a look!

With so many rocks (75 pounds worth!) we had plenty for each child to make two new friends.  Some parents even got to paint a rock of their own!

This is an easy craft to recreate at home — just find a rock, and cover using tempura paint.  Affix googly eyes, feathers, pom-poms, foam or anything else with glue to make the masterpiece complete!

Thanks to all who joined in on the fun!  It’s always so amazing to see how creative kids are.
