Flannel board story: Little Red Hen

Ren Hen and Yellow Chick cups
This version is appropriate for kids ages 3-8.
Supplies you’ll need:
glue sticks
plastic cups
color tissue paper (red for hens, yellow for chicks)
color paper (yellow for hens, orange for chicks)
white paper (for drawing eyes) or preprinted and pre-cut paper eyes
Preparation:
You might want to pre-cut all the eyes, beaks, and feet for the younger children, and possibly divide the amount of tissue paper as well.
Craft it!
Rip pieces of tissue paper and glue them to the cup; neat or messy, it’s up to the artist! Next, glue eyes, beak and feet.
Remember that arts and crafts improves dexterity, perseverance, and inspires creativity!
