Maybe even over-prepared. When she meets Hannah Marks, a girl who claims to know when the world will end, her life is turned upside down.

The story tackles many difficult issues such as religion, sexual identity, and mental health, but Ellis’ character development seems to be highly lacking. She maintains the same beliefs all throughout the story, and by the end, doesn’t really seem different from the beginning.

However, I do appreciate the other characters’ developments.
