She goes through many homes, her boyfriend Chase messing it up for her every time. After being kicked out of a foster home once again, all she wants is a place where she can finish school and have a future. She doesn’t expect to be placed in the Campbell’s home, where she and their son Brad grow close. As you read, you can see Brad and Hailey’s relationship grow with unexpected turns and twists. There is a lot of character development in this book with all of the characters, both subtly and obviously. This is a quick read, and I couldn’t put the book down as soon as I started reading. The plot is a little cliché, but the author, S.M. Koz, does a great job of making the characters unique and surprising. If you enjoy young adult books with teen romance, this is the book for you. 3/5 stars.

Find this book in our catalog: Love Me, Love Me Not

Catalog Number: YA FIC KOZ,S

327 pages

review by Ashley Zhang, age 13 Love Me, Love Me Not by S.M.
