In honor of Teen Read Week (October 13-19), we had several prize drawings and contests during the month of October.<\/p>\n

\"photoFirst up are the winners of the Photo Contest<\/strong>. \u00a0Each winner received a gift card (either $50, $25 or $20) and their photos will be printed in our new Teen Zine (2014). \u00a0View their winning entries here.<\/a> <\/p>\n

Photo Contest Winners:<\/p>\n

#1 Rachel Erickson, age 16<\/p>\n

\"basketWe also had a drawing for teens who completed a Survey<\/strong>. The prize was a basket of new or popular teen books. \u00a0Winner: \u00a0Emma Hovanec<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
\"scavAnd finally, during the month of October, we had a self-directed Teen Scavenger Hunt<\/strong>. \u00a0Teens were able to pick up a worksheet in Teen Central, then fill in answers to questions about the library (programs, location of items, displays); this activity required teens to search for areas in the library building. \u00a0All entries were entered into a drawing for a $20 gift card. \u00a0Winner: \u00a0Michael Patton, age 13<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
