September 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Teen Advisory Board working meeting 9\/19\/2016<\/p>\n<p>Present: Frissel, Laura, Madison, McKenna, Lucy, Lauren, Kara, Liliana, Maya<\/p>\n<p>Announcements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oct. 10 at 7pm: We (the Library and the Teen Advisory Board) will take the anti-bullying proclamation at the City Council Meeting.\u00a0 If you are available to attend to show your support, please let me know.\u00a0 Wear your TAB shirts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Oct. 11 at 6-9pm: The City is celebrating National Coming Out Day.\u00a0 We\u2019re working with the Public Health Dept. to put on this event.\u00a0 I need TAB members to staff our Library information booth and pass out info about our Mental Health Initiative and resources for LGBTQ.\u00a0 I\u2019ll be coordinating most of the onsite logistics.\u00a0 Please let me know if want to help out, and again, please wear your shirts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Murder Mystery: \u00a0Very productive meeting.\u00a0 I\u2019ll work on gathering everyone\u2019s notes together and put them on one document.\u00a0 Here\u2019s our work plan for the next month:<\/p>\n<p>Decorations \u2013 Please make time to come in weekly to work on the decorations.\u00a0 This means that you have 5 meetings to finish these.\u00a0 If you need more time, please talk to the others to see if there\u2019s another time you can meet.<\/p>\n<p>Script \u2013 Laura, please connect with Haneen and Hadley.\u00a0 The victim is the Prince of Hearts.\u00a0 Please try your best to have finished scripts back to me by October 10.<\/p>\n<p>Weapon clues \u2013 Liliana and Kara came up with some fun weapons; I\u2019ll order everything today.\u00a0 Liliana, please connect with KC and Brittany to let them know the plans.\u00a0 You all still need to work on the clues.\u00a0 You can work independently via email and Google docs, but you must share all of that with me and your progress.\u00a0 In order to get all the pieces prepared on time, the clues need to be done by October 5.\u00a0 The clues need to be tested, so Oct 8 at our TAB meeting would be the best time to do that, but they have to be finished by Oct 5.\u00a0 I need a couple of days to get supplies so we can test it.\u00a0 Otherwise,\u00a0 you may schedule a time between the three of you to come into the library and work on it together.<\/p>\n<p>Location clues \u2013 Lauren and Madison, same as above (weapon clues).\u00a0 Please have them done by October 5.<\/p>\n<p>Characters\/actors \u2013 Those who volunteered to be a cast member, please make sure you can absolutely be here on October 28.\u00a0 The event takes place from 5:30-8pm, but I\u2019m asking volunteers to arrive earlier if possible.\u00a0 I would also like to take some cast pictures, so I\u2019m hoping you\u2019ll be ready and dressed by 5:15.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alice\u2013\u00a0Bella<\/li>\n<li>Cheshire Cat \u2013 McKenna<\/li>\n<li>White Rabbit \u2013 Maya<\/li>\n<li>Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum \u2013 Madison and Lauren<\/li>\n<li>Red Queen \u2013 Deb (staff)<\/li>\n<li>Mad Hatter \u2013 Kevin (staff)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other important dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oct 8 at 2pm \u2013 NAMI Mental Health event<\/li>\n<li>Oct 8 at 4pm \u2013 next TAB meeting<\/li>\n<li>Oct 28 \u2013 Murder Mystery: if you want to help out, please arrive at 4pm if you can;
