At first look, this image appears dark, but the feeling is certainly far from it. This captures childhood memories and coming of age, friendship, freedom, happiness–possibly invoking the artist\u2019s own memory or emotion.\u00a0 The artist is creative in the use of the medium: acrylic painting of a city shadowed in the background, with pen and ink to highlight fireflies and the young, happy pair.<\/p>\n
