During winter break, teens competed in the Gingerbread House Competition.<\/p>\n

Materials<\/span><\/h2>\n

First, participants had to build their base. \u00a0They used cardboard and tape to build the shape. \u00a0A round cake board was used for the bottom. \u00a0These were the the only non-edible portions. \u00a0All the materials for the decorations had to be edible, including the adhesive.<\/p>\n
