Seed<\/span><\/a> by Greg Pizzoli is all about a crocodile who LOVES watermelon!\u00a0\u00a0He LOVES watermelon so much that he likes it for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert UNTIL\u00a0he accidentally\u00a0swallows a seed.\u00a0\u00a0GULP!\u00a0 The crocodile goes into a panic as he starts thinking about that\u00a0seed germinating\u00a0in his tummy, wreaking havoc\u00a0on his body.\u00a0 Not to worry, there is\u00a0a happy ending (sort of)&#8230;\u00a0 A hilarious book &#8211; the children who attended storytime couldn&#8217;t stop laughing (and neither could the adults).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A great story to act out or to use for a lapsit.<\/p>\n<p>In Karma Wilson&#8217;s book, <a href=\"http:\/\/pgpl-mt.iii.com\/iii\/encore_pasadena\/record\/C__Rb1535266__Sbear%20sees%20colors__Orightresult__U__X7?lang=eng&amp;suite=pasadena\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Bear Sees Colors<\/span><\/a>, bear traverses the woods and discovers\u00a0all kinds of\u00a0colors in\u00a0the fruit and food\u00a0(honeycomb) he encounters.\u00a0\u00a0It&#8217;s all about the picnic at the end of the book where all of these delicious and colorful edibles (plus a few extras) add up to a marvelous feast!\u00a0 A great book for a lap sit or a read aloud.<\/p>\n<p>Betty literally &#8220;goes bananas&#8221; in Steven Anthony&#8217;s funny take on tantrums &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/pgpl-mt.iii.com\/iii\/encore_pasadena\/record\/C__Rb1546261__Sbetty%20goes%20bananas__Orightresult__U__X7?lang=eng&amp;suite=pasadena\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Betty Goes Bananas<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 Quirky and relatable, this book touches on the difficulties of eating bananas and the inevitable meltdowns that result when a preschooler is learning new fine motor skills.\u00a0\u00a0Did I mention the Toucan?\u00a0 Who can resist a Toucan in a\u00a0picture book?\u00a0 Not me!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 class=\"font-headlines\">Flannel Board Activities\u00a0We
