We read and tested on\u00a0another Megan McDonald book for Lucha Libros this month: Stink, The Incredible Shrinking Kid<\/a>\u00a0\/ Stink el incre\u00edble ni\u00f1o menguante<\/a>. \u00a0The book wasn’t a hard read, but a few of the questions were. \u00a0It’s that these kids are doing so well, I have to throw in a few hard ones!<\/p>\n

The kids had high energy tonight and there were a few new people. \u00a0The auditorium was packed. \u00a0I love the retention level this year! \u00a0Kids are loving the program and sticking with it month after month. \u00a0One child even said very kindly that he wouldn\u2019t mind spending his birthday here next month so that his little brother can continue to compete! \u00a0What a sweet big brother, right?<\/p>\n

Next month on May 3 we’ll be answering questions about the book Fortunately the Milk<\/a>\u00a0\/ El gal\u00e1ctico, pir\u00e1tico y alien\u00edgena viaje de mi padre<\/a>\u00a0 by Neil Gaiman. \u00a0It’ll be our very last one and the highest scorer (with the most points all year) will go home with the Lucha Libros belt!<\/p>\n
