Books We Shared<\/h2>\n
In Toddler Storytime, we\u00a0shared a stroll\u00a0with a loving father bear and his son in the book On Our Way Home<\/span> <\/a>by Sebastien Braun. \u00a0We also read Wiggle Waggle<\/span><\/a> in Toddler storytime, but made things a little more lively by actually acting out all the different gaits of the animals featured in the story.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We went walking with a flannelboard based on Sue Williams’s book\u00a0I Went Walking<\/span><\/a> illustrated by Julie Vivas.<\/p>\n I Went Walking<\/span> I went walking. \u00a0What did I see?\u00a0(place animal behind the boy)<\/em> Continue with the following animals: You should end up with a parade of animals behind the child.<\/em><\/p>\n I went walking and I saw a lot of animals following me!<\/p>\n For our Nursery Rhyme flannelboard we took a trip up the hill with Jack and Jill.<\/p>\n Jack and Jill<\/span> <\/p>\n Rosie takes a nice walk around the farm. \u00a0But there is a fox following her! \u00a0Will she escape him?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Looking for more ways to have a walk through a story?\u00a0 Come to your local Pasadena Public Library branch and pick up one of these titles!
