First print out the template from the link above. \u00a0There is a full color option or a black and white option. \u00a0For storytime, I used the black and white option printed on yellow and orange cardstock. \u00a0The pieces were pre-cut and scored at the folding lines; sometimes, the younger children have difficultly folding cardstock. \u00a0They colored the eyes and top of the duck&#8217;s beak. \u00a0Finally, accompanying adults helped the kids tape their hats together. \u00a0Usually, the adults held the pieces for the kids to tape. \u00a0It was a great exercise on following directions and teamwork.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Pajama Storytime, Hastings Branch Library 6\/24\/13.
