It was all about the colors of the rainbow during Infant Storytime this week.\u00a0 We also learned that the word Colors<\/strong> begins with the Letter C<\/strong> and we discovered that the words\u00a0Cat, Cupcakes & Cloud<\/strong> also begin with C<\/strong>!\u00a0 Take a look at the books, flannel activities, songs, rhymes & bounces we shared.<\/p>\n

Colors pop-up Peekaboo<\/strong>!<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0produced by DK Publishing is a colorful, interactive experience!\u00a0 We observe Teddy looking for his yellow friend (yellow ducky), Dolly looking for her red friend (red birdie), Rabbit for his blue friend (blue dragonfly), Puppy for his green friend (green turtle) and all of the toys looking for their Rainbow friend (a multi-colored butterfly).\u00a0 Of course all of these friends pop-up from behind various objects to surprise and delight us!<\/p>\n

We shared Bill Martin\u2019s classic book\u00a0Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do You See?<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Last week we told the story using flannel pieces; this week read the book. The book is cumulative with each animal seeing the next animal until we get to the children who see a teacher\/librarian looking at them at the very end.<\/p>\n

Mary lost her little lamb so we tried to help her!\u00a0 We sang the nursery song until we found her little lamb with “fleece as white as snow.”\u00a0 In the process lambs of many different colors came out to play!<\/p>\n
