Plants need three basic things to live: water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide. They then gently pushed some soil on top of the seeds, tucking them in like a blanket.<\/li>\n<li>We wrote the names of the plants on the\u00a0craft sticks and let the\u00a0children stick these in the soil of their pots.<\/li>\n<li>We talked\u00a0about how seeds need light to grow, and told them they&#8217;d need to take their pots to\u00a0a window sill or brightly lit area at home.<\/li>\n<li>We explained\u00a0how the seeds need water to grow and let each child use\u00a0a spray bottle\u00a0to mist the soil, like gentle rain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
