WE read some great stories about SOUNDS during today’s Preschool Storytime!\u00a0\u00a0We heard all kinds of sounds – animal, musical, and magical!<\/p>\n

In Whoops <\/strong><\/em>by Suzi Moore, we find three animals (a dog, a cat and a mouse) who cannot make a sound!\u00a0\u00a0A wise old owl suggests they consult with a little old lady who lives in a house in the woods .\u00a0 He claims her magical powers will bring back their voices.\u00a0 Well she has a few “whoops” along the way and let’s just say the dog, the cat and the mouse start making some really weird animal sounds until she finally gets it right!<\/p>\n

A fun, interactive book that kept the preschoolers (and the adults) completely engaged and laughing!<\/p>\n

How Loud is a Lion?<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>by\u00a0Clare Beaton asks different animals “How loud is a lion?”\u00a0 Nobody really knows although a REAL lion eventually sneaks onto\u00a0the page and lets out a real loud ROAR!!!!\u00a0 Another funny story with lots of anticipation as the writer tells us to “Shhhhh…listen.” until we can hear the ROAR!<\/p>\n
