Based on the book by Jay Asher.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><em>Riverdale<\/em> (CW, Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>A subversive take on Archie and his friends, exploring small town life, the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath\u00a0<em>Riverdale&#8217;s<\/em>\u00a0wholesome facade. Loosely based on the <em>Archie<\/em> comic characters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><em>Stranger Things<\/em> (Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>When a young boy disappears, his mother, a police chief, and his friends must confront terrifying forces in order to get him back.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><em>Arrow\u00a0<\/em>(CW, Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>Spoiled billionaire playboy Oliver Queen is missing and presumed dead when his yacht is lost at sea. He returns five years later a changed man, determined to clean up the city as a hooded vigilante armed with a bow. Arrow is the first and longest-running of CW&#8217;s superhero track.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><em>The Flash\u00a0<\/em>(CW, Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>After being struck by lightning, Barry Allen wakes up from his coma to discover he&#8217;s been given the power of super speed, becoming the\u00a0<em>Flash<\/em>, fighting crime in Central City.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Supergirl-The Flash-Arrow-Legends crossover (CW)<\/h3>\n<p>While you&#8217;re at it, you should also check out sister shows <em>Legends of Tomorrow<\/em> and <em>Supergirl<\/em> (CW, Netflix), which are also connected to Arrow and The Flash. You won&#8217;t be able to watch all the episodes of the most recent season, but you can still catch the most recent four-show crossover event on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cwtv.com\/shows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CW&#8217;s website<\/a>. It&#8217;s like the <em>Justice League<\/em>, plus and minus a few characters, but still the most fun and awesome superhero event.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Twin Peaks (Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>An idiosyncratic FBI agent investigates the murder of a young woman in the even more idiosyncratic town of Twin Peaks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Parks and Recreation (Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>The absurd antics of an Indiana town&#8217;s public officials as they pursue sundry projects to make their city a better place.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>The Office (Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>A mockumentary on a group of typical office workers, where the workday consists of ego clashes, inappropriate behavior, and tedium.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Gilmore Girls (Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>A dramedy centering around the relationship between a thirtysomething single mother and her teen daughter living in Stars Hollow, Connecticut.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Freaks and Geeks (Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>A high school mathlete starts hanging out with a group of burnouts while her younger brother navigates his freshman year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Jane the Virgin (Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>A young, devout Catholic woman discovers that she was accidentally artificially inseminated.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>The Carrie Diaries (Netflix)<\/h3>\n<p>Carrie Bradshaw is in her junior year of high school in the early 1980s.
