The team previously voted on several different designs, but this one&#8211;with the obvious nod to books and art&#8211;attracted the most votes. Meep then took Julia&#8217;s drawn design and created a\u00a0vector file. The team voted on colors and styles. Selecting the colors was an easy choice; they decided on\u00a0royal blue and white, the same colors as the current volunteer lanyards. Given the option of two styles, they decided on traditional t-shirts and baseball tees. They discussed where the logos (library logo and TAB logo) should be placed&#8211;whether they should be on the back or front, and the size of the logo images. Sizes for each member were collected, shirts were screened by Ellen&#8217;s Silkscreening, and here they are!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BDjPGRzoQyx\/?taken-by=paslibraryteen\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BDjPGRzoQyx\/?taken-by=paslibraryteen<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Agenda:<\/p>\n<p>Summer Reading Challenge\u00a02016 &#8211; demo of new online site Reading by Design<\/p>\n<p>Prizes &#8211; TAB voted on smaller prizes for program milestones\u00a0and several grand prizes<\/p>\n<p>SRC Teen starter set &#8211; box (like a small game box), headphones (&#8220;Try an audiobook while you jog&#8221;), button (made by teen volunteers), and &#8220;game instructions&#8221; (draft designed by Maya)<\/p>\n<p>Graphics &amp; theme &#8211; iREAD: \u00a0&#8220;Read for the Win&#8221; (sports, competition, games); TAB voted on graphics, badges, buttons<\/p>\n<p>Programs &#8211; the team decided on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>laser tag<\/li>\n<li>Ingress virtual reality game<\/li>\n<li>At least 1 game night<\/li>\n<li>There will be 3 summer YA Book Club meetings. Books were selected\u00a0months ago. This summer Madison and Hadley will step in as facilitators while Kara is away.
