Our first week of summer was filled with events. We held a Game Night where teens and young adults dropped in to play board games including Apples to Apples and Forbidden Island; the next one will be at Central Library on July 13). \u00a0We made no-sew blankets using two sheets of fleece; the next one will be at Santa Catalina Library on August 4. \u00a0We had our first Sword Fighting Workshop at La Pintoresca Library which was an absolute smash; the next one will be at Central Library on July 11 (call to register 626-744-4246)! \u00a0And of course, it was also the first week for our Summer Program volunteers who will be working through the summer to help kids sign up for the program.<\/p>\n
