Based on the book by Jay Asher.

 

Riverdale (CW, Netflix)

A subversive take on Archie and his friends, exploring small town life, the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale’s wholesome facade. Loosely based on the Archie comic characters.

 

Stranger Things (Netflix)

When a young boy disappears, his mother, a police chief, and his friends must confront terrifying forces in order to get him back.

 

Arrow (CW, Netflix)

Spoiled billionaire playboy Oliver Queen is missing and presumed dead when his yacht is lost at sea. He returns five years later a changed man, determined to clean up the city as a hooded vigilante armed with a bow. Arrow is the first and longest-running of CW’s superhero track.

 

The Flash (CW, Netflix)

After being struck by lightning, Barry Allen wakes up from his coma to discover he’s been given the power of super speed, becoming the Flash, fighting crime in Central City.

While you’re at it, you should also check out sister shows Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl (CW, Netflix), which are also connected to Arrow and The Flash. You won’t be able to watch all the episodes of the most recent season, but you can still catch the most recent four-show crossover event on CW’s website. It’s like the Justice League, plus and minus a few characters, but still the most fun and awesome superhero event.
