Swinburne<\/a>, begins with an explanation of what shadows are, then shows different shadows and have you see if you can guess what made that shadow. \u00a0Some are trickier than you think!<\/p>\n<p>Switching from the shadows part of Groundhog Day to the animal, our second book was <a href=\"http:\/\/pgpl-mt.iii.com\/iii\/encore_pasadena\/search\/C__Sgreyhound%20a%20groundhog__Orightresult__U?lang=eng&amp;suite=pasadena\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">A Greyhound, a Groundhog<\/span> by Emily Jenkins, illustrated by Chris Appelhans.<\/a> \u00a0This energetic story shows what can happen when a round, grey dog meets a round, brown groundhog &#8211; \u00a0lots of fun! \u00a0It&#8217;s a bit of a tongue-twister story, but the rhymes and repetition makes it a great read aloud to share with toddlers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 class=\"font-headlines\">Flannel Board Story<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Shadows<\/span><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium
