\"yrl_contest_img\"We’re pleased to announce\u00a0the Young Readers League\u00a02016 Writing Contest winners!<\/p>\n

This year, young writers were challenged to tell us something about a new character joining a magical circus,\u00a0their special ability\u00a0or how this character\u00a0come to join the circus.<\/p>\n

The winning entries were honored during the Young Readers League Circus Extravaganza with Cassie Beasley, author of Circus Mirandus, our 2016 selection.<\/p>\n

We will feature the contest winners in upcoming issues of Off the Shelf, the library\u2019s monthly newsletter, and teen participants\u00a0will also be feature in the Summer 2016\u00a0issue of the Teen Zine. The stories are also published here on our blog for your reading enjoyment. They will also be published on Vroman’s Bookstore blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n
