We started with our Opening Song <a href=\"http:\/\/pgpl-mt.iii.com\/iii\/encore_pasadena\/record\/C__Rb1459515__SClap%20Everybody%20and%20Say%20Hello__Orightresult__U__X3?lang=eng&amp;suite=pasadena\" target=\"_blank\">Clap Everybody and Say Hello<\/a>, and our <a href=\"http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/2016\/infant-and-toddler-storytimes-feelings\/\" target=\"_blank\">Scarf Song<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/10\/files\/sites\/10\/2016\/08\/IMG_20160802_095223.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/10\/files\/sites\/10\/2016\/08\/IMG_20160802_095223-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20160802_095223\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5947\" srcset=\"http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/10\/files\/sites\/10\/2016\/08\/IMG_20160802_095223-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/10\/files\/sites\/10\/2016\/08\/IMG_20160802_095223-375x500.jpg 375w, http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/10\/files\/sites\/10\/2016\/08\/IMG_20160802_095223.jpg 681w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We also waved our scarves gently to the rhythm of the nursery rhyme Rockabye Baby.  Then we read <a href=\"http:\/\/pgpl-mt.iii.com\/iii\/encore_pasadena\/record\/C__Rb1579044__Sgoodnight%20good%20dog%20ray__Orightresult__U__X2?lang=eng&amp;suite=pasadena\" target=\"_blank\">Goodnight, Good Dog<\/a> by Mary Lyn Ray and illustrated by Rebecca Malone.  It&#8217;s a sweet book with clearly outlined illustrations, and nice for ramping down Baby&#8217;s day and getting ready for sleep.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pgpl-mt.iii.com\/iii\/encore_pasadena\/record\/C__Rb1579044__Sgoodnight%20good%20dog%20ray__Orightresult__U__X2?lang=eng&amp;suite=pasadena\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/d.gr-assets.com\/books\/1419320625l\/23719248.jpg\" width=\"318\" height=\"395\" class=\"aligncenter\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We lifted babies up and down to an abridged version of the song <a href=\"http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/2014\/toddler-storytime-naptime\/\" target=\"_blank\">Way Up In the Sky The Little Birds Fly<\/a> and sang about Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed (this is a picture of the monkeys I was using):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/10\/files\/sites\/10\/2015\/03\/five-little-monkeys-and-crocodile.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/10\/files\/sites\/10\/2015\/03\/five-little-monkeys-and-crocodile-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"five little monkeys and crocodile\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2763\" srcset=\"http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/10\/files\/sites\/10\/2015\/03\/five-little-monkeys-and-crocodile-300x224.jpg 300w, http:\/\/pasadena-library.net\/kids\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/10\/files\/sites\/10\/2015\/03\/five-little-monkeys-and-crocodile.jpg 890w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We read <a href=\"http:\/\/pgpl-mt.iii.com\/iii\/encore_pasadena\/record\/C__Rb1532867__Sbaby%20bedtime__Orightresult__U__X7?lang=eng&amp;suite=pasadena\" target=\"_blank\">Baby Bedtim<\/a>e by Mem Fox and Emma Quay.  It was a bit long I think, and I&#8217;ll abridge it next time.  Both books this week were a bit long in my opinion. I found it originally on a resource put together by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.perrypubliclibrary.org\/children.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Perry Public Library<\/a>.
