Mothers are magnificent. \u00a0Sure, it may be after Mother’s Day, but we can celebrate Mom’s every day.<\/p>\n

Books We Shared
\n\"I<\/a>\u00a0\"Mama's<\/a>\u00a0\"PigletandMamabyWild\"<\/a>\u00a0\"MommyMinebyWarnes\"<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Our first book in infant storytime was I Love My Mommy<\/span> by Sebastien Braun<\/a>, a sweet reflection on all the wonderful things mothers do including feed their babies, help their babies, playing with their babies, and of course cuddling their babies. \u00a0Later in storytime, we took a walk with\u00a0Mama’s Little Bears<\/a><\/span> by Nancy Tafuri<\/a>. \u00a0Three little bears are tired of fishing and decide to go exploring. \u00a0 But Mama is always close by watching over them.<\/p>\n

With toddler storytime, the first story we shared was\u00a0Piglet and Mama<\/span><\/a> by Margaret Wild, illustrated by Stephen Michael King<\/a>. \u00a0Piglet gets separated from her mama, and although many of her farm friend’s mothers offer to play, she just wants her mama. \u00a0Our second story,\u00a0Mama Mine<\/span> by Tim Warnes, illustrated by Jane Chapman<\/a>\u00a0 celebrates all the different types of mothers there are in the animal kingdom, and how different they are.<\/p>\n
