We had the Pasadena Garden Club celebrating their 100th anniversary with a flower show in the library this past weekend. \u00a0Of course, we had to bring the flower fun into preschool storytime!<\/p>\n

Books We Shared<\/h2>\n

\"FransFlower\"<\/a>\u00a0\"Planting<\/a>
\nIn our first book, Fran’s Flower<\/span> by Lisa Bruce, illustrated by Rosalind Beardshaw<\/a>, Fran finds a pot with a little green bit in it. \u00a0She wants to help it grow, but what is the best food for a plant? \u00a0It must like the same things as Fran, right? \u00a0So she feeds the plant pizza, hamburger, ice cream and more! \u00a0But does the plant like that?<\/p>\n

We also spent some time Planting a Rainbow<\/a><\/span> with author Lois Ehlert’s book of the same name. \u00a0This is a beautiful celebration of plants of all colors.<\/p>\n
