Lucy Cousins did\u00a0a marvelous job creating this\u00a0colorful, boldly illustrated, alluring book of fish – stripy fish, fat fish, thin fish…even an Elefish!\u00a0 We’re introduced to a little\u00a0fish who takes us\u00a0on this journey under the sea and we can’t help but shout, Hooray for Fish!<\/p>\n

A great lift-the-flap book that acts as a guessing game.\u00a0 The question is, “Who can swim?”\u00a0 As we lift the flaps we see all of the animals who can swim AND of course, we close with a little boy who can also swim.\u00a0 Great visuals,\u00a0simple text and the guessing game aspect make this a fun read for toddler storytim<\/p>\n

123 Abracadabra – Magic Box What Do You Have for Me???<\/p>\n

We played a magic game – everyone had to count to three and say the magic word – ABRACADABRA!<\/p>\n

Then I fished in my big red box to pull out a special creature from the ocean AND BOY DID WE COME UP WITH SOME AMAZING SWIMMERS!!!<\/p>\n

Abracadabra 1-2-3, Magic Box What Do You Have for Me??<\/em><\/p>\n

We pulled out an:<\/p>\n

Octopus<\/p>\n

Fish<\/p>\n

Dolphin<\/p>\n

Whale<\/p>\n

Sea Otter<\/p>\n

These are baby\u2019s fingers, (touch child\u2019s fingers)<\/em><\/p>\n

These are baby\u2019s toes, (touch child\u2019s toes)<\/em><\/p>\n

This is baby\u2019s belly button, (touch child\u2019s tummy)<\/em><\/p>\n

Round and round it goes! (gently tickle child\u2019s tummy)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
