A great book for teaching counting, colors & bugs.\u00a0 The pictures are vivid, bright and bold with lots of interest for toddler eyes!<\/p>\n

Of course the bugs were all vying for that delicious blueberry rolling past them.\u00a0 They were all to late though because a bird swooped down & grabbed it!<\/p>\n

SURPRISE BUTTERFLY IN A BOX<\/em><\/p>\n

The fuzzy little caterpillar<\/p>\n

Crawled up to look at me.<\/p>\n

He wiggled and I giggled,<\/p>\n

Friends we soon would be.<\/p>\n

So I put him in a box, I did!<\/p>\n

“Don’t you crawl a way”, I said.<\/p>\n

But, the next time I opened up the lid,<\/p>\n

Out flew a butterfly instead!<\/p>\n

FLANNEL ACTIVITIES:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Shall we make more butterflies come out?<\/p>\n

YES!<\/p>\n

Five little caterpillars spinning their cocoons (roll your hands)<\/p>\n

Hoping spring would be here soon (fingers crossed)<\/p>\n

With a little big of magic (wiggle your fingers)<\/p>\n

And some warm sunshine (arms overhead for round sun)<\/p>\n

Clap, clap, clap, butterfly come!<\/p>\n

(pull out a butterfly from a basket)<\/p>\n
