Since this was the last storytime of the Fall session, it seemed only fitting to transition into winter with stories about Snow!<\/p>\n

Books We Shared<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a>\u00a0\"\"<\/a>
\nTo begin infant storytime we read\u00a0Oh!<\/span><\/a> by Kevin Henkes. \u00a0This is a look at all the various ways animals can play in the snow. \u00a0The pictures by Laura Dronzek are just beautiful and convey the soft and gentle atmosphere of a snow-covered word. \u00a0Next, we read the story of\u00a0Sleepy Bear<\/span><\/a> by Lydia Dabcovich. \u00a0When the leaves change color, and the temperature drops, and it starts to snow, bear gets sleepy. \u00a0He find a cozy cave. \u00a0But nothing can make him forget the sound of bees — and what type of food they bring!<\/p>\n

Mittens usually come in pairs, but we started toddler storytime with a look at all the fun you can have with One Mitten<\/span><\/a>. \u00a0Next we met mice\u00a0Pip & Squeak<\/span><\/a> who forgot to bring the cheese along to give to Gus as a birthday present. \u00a0What will they find instead? \u00a0And will Gus like it?<\/p>\n

In Infant storytime, we built a snowman together.<\/p>\n

Build a Snowman<\/span>
\n\"Build\"Build<\/a><\/p>\n

First the body
\nAnd then the head.
\nA stovepipe hat
\nand a scarf of red.
\nPebbles for eyes
\nAnd a carrot nose
\nTwigs for arms,
\nplaced just so.<\/p>\n
