<\/a><\/strong>\nWe started infant storytime off with a guessing game:\u00a0What Am I? Halloween<\/span> by Anne Margaret Lewis, illustrated by Tom Mills. \u00a0Each page gives a clue and half an illustration of a Halloween-centric object, then you lift the flap to reveal what is underneath. \u00a0This book is a little long, but you don’t always have to read a book in order. \u00a0We skipped a few pages today in storytime, and that’s ok. \u00a0Always remember to follow your child’s cues while sharing stories with him or her — reading should be fun, not tedious.<\/p>\n
In both infant and toddler we helped\u00a0Duck and Goose Find a Pumpkin<\/span>\u00a0by Tad Hills. \u00a0Duck and Goose see their friend Thistle with a pumpkin, and they want one of their own. \u00a0But where do pumpkins live? \u00a0Your little one will enjoy saying no to this book, and being smarter than Duck and Goose.<\/p>\n In Toddler storytime we saw Peter the Tiger find a\u00a0Plumply, Dumply Pumpkin<\/span> written by Mary Serfozo and illustrated by Valeria Petrone. \u00a0Once Peter finds the pumpkin though, what is he going to do with it? \u00a0This is a fun story that while Halloween themed, isn’t the least bit scary.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 5 Little Pumpkins<\/span> Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate. <\/p>\n Mouse’s Halloween House<\/span> One day in the fall, a little gray mouse found a big orange house. The mouse\u2019s little house <\/p>\n Hickety, Pickety, My Black Hen Hickety, pickety, my black hen.
