It was all about things that GO during our last Toddler Storytime of the winter session.\u00a0 We also talked about the letter G in Go and found some other things that begin with G!<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In Red Light Green Light<\/strong><\/em> <\/a>by Anastasia Suen we learn that red means STOP, green means GO and yellow means SLOW!\u00a0 This book is full of cars, trucks, trains and helicopters in motion. There is traffic everywhere!\u00a0 But we quickly learn that it is best to listen to those traffic signals (even if its only make-believe).<\/p>\n

Let’s Go!<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by Sarah Williamson introduces us to Tuski (the Elephant) who is driving a big, red van.\u00a0 He picks up all kinds of things along the way including some colorful fruit and fish.\u00a0 He also manages to wait for a swarm of ladybugs to cross the road and hop onto his vehicle, picks up stacks and stacks of pancakes and a worm and heads up, up, up hill!\u00a0 Guess what happens?\u00a0 Gravity isn’t kind! This book is colorful, quirky and suspenseful.\u00a0 I wasn’t sure how it would go over with a toddler group but it was surprisingly well received.<\/p>\n
