It was all about things that GO during our last Infant Storytime of the winter session.\u00a0 We also talked about the letter G in Go and found some other things that begin with G!<\/p>\n

In Emma Garcia’s Toot Toot Beep Beep<\/em><\/strong><\/a> we see all kinds of vehicles making distinct sounds as they travel the highways.\u00a0 We hear a toot toot, a beep beep, a whoosh, a vroom vroom, a honk honk and MORE!\u00a0 As you can see things got pretty noisy in this book.\u00a0 However, at night there is a quiet hush as all of the cars head for the parking garage to find their parking spaces and get some much needed rest.\u00a0 Colorful, fun and filled with opportunities for engagement and participation, this book is always a hit with infants and toddlers.<\/p>\n

Byron Barton creates the perfect picture books for infants and toddlers and My Bus<\/strong><\/em><\/a> is no exception.\u00a0 This book covers a day in the life of a busy bus driver who picks up his passengers and takes them to their various destinations (the airport, the train station and the harbor).\u00a0 It’s not every day that a bus is full of cats and dogs going on vacation!\u00a0 There’s a bit of subtraction, an introduction to all types of transportation and some colorful animal passengers which makes this great as a lap sit or a read aloud.<\/p>\n
