We read Chugga-chugga Choo-choo<\/a> by Kevin Lewis with pictures by Daniel Kirk, in which toys act out the busyness and work of a train coming into the station.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

I don’t always do this, but sometimes I have a book from home that really works with my theme and I share that instead of a library book. This book, Tell the Time With Thomas<\/a> by Christopher Awdry and Ken Stott introduces the concept of the analog clock with an actual play clock and a simple, interactive story about a day in the life of everyone’s favorite tank engine!<\/p>\n
