On this cool and cloudy day, Bunny Fun<\/a> by Sarah Weeks and illustrated by Sam Williams seemed like a fun way to start storytime, with its adorable bunny main character who finds ways to keep himself entertained on a rainy day.<\/p>\n

The Wonderful Habits of Rabbits<\/a> features nice rhyming verse by Douglas Florian, and lovely pictures by Sonia Sanchez.<\/p>\n

In What’s the Matter, Bunny Blue?<\/a> by Nicola Smee, a little bunny is troubled and looking for his grandma. He struggles to describe her to other animals in a helpful way, but his friends aren’t giving up!<\/p>\n

We used puppets to perform the song “Little Bunny Foo Foo”:<\/p>\n

My bunny puppet went and hid under the tablecloth, and the fairy left too. So we said, “Come out, Foo Foo! The coast is clear!” And what do you think came out of the tablecloth?<\/p>\n

Then we recited the “Here comes a bunny” song (see farther down), a magic spell to turn Foo Foo back into a bunny. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
