For our\u00a0sixth\u00a0storytime of the winter\u00a0session\u00a0we read stories about cars and trucks!\u00a0 What follows are the books, rhymes, songs, tickle, bounces and\u00a0flannel boards we shared.<\/span><\/p>\n

BOOKS WE SHARED<\/h1>\n

Toot Toot Beep Beep! <\/em><\/strong>by Emma Garcia is a great book about cars in traffic as they go “up and down, in and out and round and round all day long”.\u00a0 The cars in this book are diverse, bold and bright and each makes a unique noise – honk, beep, toot, vroom and beep to name a few!\u00a0 There is also\u00a0a surprise ending –\u00a0the cars disappear for the night!\u00a0 But,\u00a0where do they go?\u00a0 You’ll have to read the book to find out.<\/p>\n

Trucks Go\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>by Steve Light is a board book\u00a0about\u00a0different trucks that make loud, rhythmic\u00a0noises!\u00a0 This is a perfect book for infants and their short attention spans.\u00a0 It is also\u00a0a great introduction into consonant and vowel sounds.<\/p>\n
