Our theme for the\u00a0SIXTH\u00a0storytime of the spring session was\u00a0DINOSAURS<\/span>!\u00a0\u00a0We<\/span>\u00a0read all about the different dinosaurs that existed millions of years ago and we read about a dinosaur eager for his first real kiss!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What follows are the\u00a0books, bounces, nursery rhymes, fingerplays and flannel boards we shared.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Byron Barton\u2019s colorful book,\u00a0<\/span>Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>is great for toddlers.\u00a0 Not only does it tell you about the different dinosaurs that existed millions of years ago, it offers opportunities to talk about colors and shapes.\u00a0 Definitely a great introduction into these prehistoric creatures.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

In David Ezra Stein’s Dinosaur Kisses<\/strong><\/a>, we\u00a0meet a dinosaur who just can’t wait to kiss someone.\u00a0 Unfortunately, its a bit of a problem…he doesn’t realize his own strength!\u00a0 He finally meets his match when he finds a baby dinosaur who’s just hatched and VOILA – kiss, kiss, kiss!\u00a0 A really fun, cute story about a clumsy dinosaur looking for love in all the wrong places!\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
