For\u00a0the\u00a0fifth \u00a0meeting of our spring session we\u00a0read books about PANDAS!\u00a0\u00a0We read about a\u00a0Panda who\u00a0was\u00a0busy baking donuts AND a Panda who\u00a0went on his first play date.\u00a0 Here are the books, rhymes, fingerplays, flannel boards, action songs and video we shared.<\/span><\/p>\n

In\u00a0Michael Dahl’s Playdate for Panda<\/strong><\/a>, <\/span>Panda goes over to Fox\u2019s house for his first play date.\u00a0 Panda is a bit shy and doesn\u2019t know what to expect but as soon as Fox opens the door it\u2019s nothing but fun and excitement.\u00a0 Fortunately, Panda forgets all about his fears and has a great time!!!\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

In I’ll Wait Mr. Panda<\/strong><\/a> by Steven Antony, a penguin patiently waits while Mr. Panda bakes something delicious.\u00a0 Many other animals come by wanting to know what Mr. Panda is making, but when he asks them to wait and see…they just don’t have the patience.\u00a0 Meanwhile, a tiny penguin keeps saying that he’ll wait.\u00a0 When that little penguin finally loses patience and yells:\u00a0 “I’LL WAIT MR. PANDA!”, he is rewarded with the most delectable donut!\u00a0 A\u00a0funny tale that teaches patience\u00a0and\u00a0has the element of anticipation\u00a0and surprise!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
