Our theme for the FIFTH\u00a0storytime of the spring session was\u00a0PANDAS<\/span>!\u00a0\u00a0We<\/span> read about\u00a0Panda’s play\u00a0date\u00a0with his friend Fox and we read a rhyming board book\u00a0about five very hungry pandas.\u00a0 What follows are the\u00a0books, bounces, nursery rhymes, fingerplays and flannel boards we shared.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BOOKS WE SHARED<\/h1>\n

In Play Date for Panda<\/strong><\/a>, Panda goes over to Fox’s house for his first play date.\u00a0 Panda is a bit shy and doesn’t know what to expect but as soon as Fox opens the door it’s nothing but fun and excitement.\u00a0 Fortunately, Panda forgets all about his fears and has a great time!!!<\/p>\n

Five Hungry Pandas<\/a> <\/strong>is all about – you guessed it – FIVE HUNGRY PANDAS!!!\u00a0 Along with some\u00a0reading, counting and munching, this book has\u00a0a great rhyming cadence and bold illustrations making it the perfect\u00a0book to read aloud to infants.\u00a0 There is also the “countdown” (5, 5, 3, 2, 1 hungry panda) \u00a0which makes it fun and gives that\u00a0element of anticipation throughout.<\/p>\n
