Last Saturday’s Sensory Art & Craft Making  program at Lamanda Park Branch Library made a BIG SPLASH (pun intended).  Over 20 young artists and their families set out to make “sandpaper” starfish, “squiggly” jellyfish and “squirmy” octopuses (just to name a few).  An entire wall of Lamanda Park’s meeting room was turned into an underwater wonderland as children placed their creations on the “ocean wall”.

Make sure to join us for our upcoming sensory art adventure on Saturday, August 19 from 11 am – 12 Noon.  We’ll bring out the foam & tempera paints, water buckets, sensory bins and more.

The library’s sensory art programs are adapted for children of all abilities, including those with special needs. If you’d like more information about Inclusive Sensory Programming @ PPL, please contact Marie Plug at 626-744-4027.
