On Friday May 9, a dozen kids and their parents met in the Story Room at Central Library to create beautiful jewelry in our Crystals and Beads Jewelry Workshop!  There was a wide range of ages, from 4 to 15, and the project was challenging for some but everyone came away with a new bracelet or necklace that they designed themselves.  Many kids made necklaces for their moms as Mother’s Day gifts.  Check out some of the finished necklaces!

We’re going to have another fun jewelry making program for kids on Thursday, June 12 at 3:30 pm.  Kids will draw their own pictures, watch them shrink into hard plastic charms, and then attach them to jewelry or other items of their choosing.  This class will max out at 20 participants so sign up now!
