It’s a full week of Summer Vacation storytimes!  We have stories about going to beach, taking a trip, vacationing, packing, summer sounds, and keeping cool.

Maisy Goes on Vacation and Boats were shared during our Infant Storytime here at Central.  Maisy Goes on Vacation was also shared during our Toddler Storytime along with Summer Beat.  When a Dragon Moves InClifford Keeps Cool, and Penguin on Vacation were stories read during our Preschool and Family storytimes.

For preschoolers – 2nd grade kids

Supplies

paper plates
yellow, orange, and black construction paper
glue sticks

How to make them

1.  Pre-cut yellow circles for the sun’s body, orange and yellow triangles for the sun’s spikes, and black sunglasses shapes
2.  Kids can glue together the shapes of the sun by using the example as a guide
