Based on the picture book by Jules Feiffer.

“Bark, George,” says George’s mother, and George goes: “Meow,” which definitely isn’t right, because George is a dog. And so is his mother, who repeats, “Bark, George.” And George goes, “Quack, quack.” What’s going on with George?

template printed on cardstock or paper
crayons
scissors
cotton balls
feathers

How to make them

Get the template from Sunflower Storytime.

Children can cut out the template, then color one side as a duck and the other side as a rabbit.

Glue a cotton ball for the rabbit’s tail and a feather for the duck’s wing.
